March 3rd, 2011 - Then it ain't worth doing.
This is the mantra of the GLRR's, and it appears to be also the secret to successful running according to "Born To Run" writer Christopher McDougall.
Here's a great talk given by McDougall on the secret behind humanity's advantage for running long distance, running injury free, and running forever and ever (he only goes into his barefoot running spiel briefly, and near the end of the clip).
I wholeheartedly agree with McDougall's point on just having fun when you're out there running. Stop obsessing over things like qualifying times, equipment, and other stupid things like trying to run sub-2:50 at Boston. Sheez!

I would just stop at the first Trader Joe's I passed, but that's just me.
I should rename my blog to Boston: Antelope Dinner
As long as you're not persistence hunting defenseless water buffalo, I'm good with it.
